We can use the Present Continuous to talk about specific plans in the near future. We must add (or understand from the context) a "future word". "Future words" include, for example, this afternoon/ evening, on Monday/ Tuesday, in June/ February, next week/ month, at three o'clock, tomorrow, in ten minutes, and so on.
